Limpopo is a South African province bordering Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. It is a region of infinite scenic beauty, rich cultural heritage and an abundance of wildlife. Wild Rivers & Klaserie game reserves both form part of the Greater Kruger National Park. Wild Rivers is home to the majestic Drakensberg mountains that form the Blyde river canyon – the third largest canyon in the world, and Klaserie, a scenic wilderness sanctuary, is home to the Big Five, as well as an impressive array of wildlife and incredible birdlife, boasting over 500 species including the endangered Southern ground hornbill and the white-backed vulture.
This six day retreat is an invitation to fully unplug from the digital world and (re)align with your true self, while being awed by the African wilderness. The safari camp and private bush villa follow sustainable principles and are booked exclusively for your stay. You’ll appreciate the sounds and smells of the bush as well as ecstatic moments of silence and plenitude amongst the animals. A campfire each night under the stars will allow for moments of introspection, sharing stories, caring, joy and gratitude.
Wake up each day to the multitude of bird songs, grab a coffee, a rusk and your trusty mat for your yoga session. You will be driven to different areas each day to start silent bush walks or game drives, yoga sessions, meditations in amongst grounding landscapes. You will find how being in the quiet will increasingly bring you in tune and align with the rhythm of nature.
