Passionate About
Wildlife and making a positive impact on the planet

Meet Jennifer – a Conservation Scientist, Public Speaker, Adventurer, and Eco-tourism host who has dedicated her life to making a positive impact on the planet. With a unique blend of business strategy and management skills, Jennifer has successfully transitioned from a management consultant at Accenture to a conservation scientist. Her passion for nature and wildlife has taken her on an incredible journey, where she has initiated various global projects and campaigns, working to rehabilitate wildlife and combat climate change.

Jennifer’s extensive experience in the field has given her a deep understanding of the link between human behaviour and our relationship with nature. With a Master of Science in Conservation Science from Imperial College, London, and a double degree in Bachelor of Arts and Commerce, Jennifer’s conservation portfolio is extensive. She has worked as a project manager at an Orangutan rehabilitation centre in Borneo, led the largest citizen-consultation process for the United Nations COP 15 to combat climate change, and worked as a Biodiversity conservation consultant at WWF-Australia, among many other roles.

Jennifer has also worked to combat illegal wildlife trade, writing various strategies to identify the trade of marine species and cyber-enabled wildlife crime. Her experience in this field is unparalleled, and in 2017, she was the first female granted access in Indonesia to accompany rangers and set up an anti-poaching unit patrol team in Sumatra, Indonesia. Jennifer advises on illegal wildlife trade to many entities ranging from corporate, government, and NGOs.

In 2018, Jennifer relocated to the United Arab Emirates, where she developed and implemented the innovative Conservation Education and Leadership program, ‘Connect with Nature,’ in collaboration with the Environment Agency, Abu Dhabi (EAD), inspiring and motivating youth to be part of the solution for long-term, sustainable change.

In 2021, with a sudden diagnosis of breast cancer, Jennifer used her own experience and journey to create and lead a new campaign, Food for Life, highlighting the need to transition to healthy diets from sustainable food systems. She collaborated with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MoCCAE), the Ministry of Health & Prevention (MoHAP), and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), aiming to create mass mobilisation and support the UAE’s vision towards building a healthy society and sustainable ecosystems towards a green (and blue) recovery, in a post Covid-19 world.

Jennifer’s extensive media and public speaking experience has made her a sought-after speaker at numerous global events and science conferences. She has presented and spoken at TEDx events and has extensive experience on and off the camera, producing and presenting wildlife and eco-tourism documentaries to raise awareness and make conservation relevant in everyone’s lives.

Jennifer has lived, studied, and worked in several countries in Europe and Southeast Asia, Africa, South America, China, and New Zealand, and has travelled the globe extensively. Now based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Jennifer is hosting a trip to the Great White Continent, Antarctica, at Christmas and New Year, where she hopes to inspire others to be part of the solution for a sustainable tomorrow.

Jennifer is a humble, knowledgeable, and trustworthy conservation scientist whose life’s work has made a positive impact on the planet. Her passion for nature and wildlife is infectious, and her commitment to making the world a better place is truly inspiring.
