overview

This week-long trip takes a select group of business leaders on an immersive leadership programme to the US. You will visit some of the country’s most admired organisations for presentations from top executives, curated introductions to the leading VC’s, hottest start-up’s and thought leaders, along with immersive experiences, such as the opportunity to travel in a driverless Robotaxi.

The week will begin by getting inside the heart of two organisations with a legendary reputation for excellence in service, culture and engagement – Southwest Airlines in Dallas and Ritz-Carlton at their flagship property perched atop a rugged oceanside bluff in Half Moon Bay, California.
You will then spend three and a half days getting access to leaders from some of Silicon Valley’s leading organisations: Adobe, LinkedIn, Google, Microsoft, Netflix, Andreessen Horowitz (the world’s premier VC firm) and Silicon Valley Bank, the bank behind an astonishing 70% of all VC backed tech start-ups in the US.

Additionally, you will hear from leading commentators and thought leaders such as Danny Forston, West Coast Correspondent for The Sunday Times, Lisa Gansky, TED speaker on innovation and serial entrepreneur and investor, Steve Cadigan, one of the world’s leading authorities on Future of Work, and Paul Campbell, former Head of Innovation at W.L.Gore & Associates (the legendary innovator behind Gore-Tex) & now Head of Digital Innovation at BAT who also teaches Agile at Berkley.
